Tim thanks for the advice my friend. I bought the 18" model.
John Hall warned me about the electric eye problem. Were going to try and rig up a small blower hose from the air supply to keep the eye clean. I'll keep you posted.

Well I installed the mast with weatherhead on the garage yesterday. One small problem. The cable is not long enough to get to the basement panel. Gets me to the house OK so know I have to buy some copper and the proper aluminum to copper splice connectors. Hopefully I'll finish the outside work today. Pic's after I straighten out the mess in the garage.

Why switch to copper? You can run aluminum all the way.

Good luck Bob................energize!

Bruce I had to make a splice so I just figured I'd run copper into the panel box. Got the connectors this morning and I should be done in another 1/2 hr. Had to take a break from standing on the ladder. Glad I used conduit. Makes for a nice neat install. I'll post some pic's later.

Bob, enjoyed the chat via phone. Tell us, did you get that baby powered up yet? We want to hear how it works. Grizzly better stock up on those if you give it a thumbs up!
